I had been hospitalized for heart failure, and when they were ready to discharge me, I was ready to go home. Or so I thought. The medical staff recommended that I go to a rehab facility. I wondered why. I’m fine, I thought. But once I was admitted to Buffalo Center, it only took me a couple of days to realize how important rehab was. I was weaker than I thought. The physical and occupational therapists put together a personalized therapy plan for me and I was amazed by how much stronger the daily exercises made me feel. I was only at Buffalo Center for two weeks, and the therapists and nurses were all wonderful. I don’t want to get sick again, but if I do I’d go back to Buffalo Center for sure!
